Robertson Winery Grown on gravelly soils with a combination of clay and limestone, Chardonnay is a crisp, balanced wine. Harvesting is done only when the fruit reaches its ideal ripeness. The 19-day fermentation process is carried out in tanks made of 80% stainless steel and 20% wood, with the temperature regulated to 12 °C. The wine is matured on the lees for richness, flavor, and aroma in less than eighty days. After that, 20% of the wine is matured for six months in French oak barrels.



The first week of February saw the harvest and delivery of the first Chardonnay grapes to the cellar. The high lime content provides a healthy, well-drained growing medium that is beneficial to the plants. It also assures you of improved quality and enhanced Chardonnay flavor. The wine has a straw yellow hue, a silky texture, a clean, crisp finish, and a smooth, well-balanced flavor with hints of citrus and melon.
