EU-retningsværdier

Within the EU’s internal market, there are no official limits on bringing alcohol or tobacco when traveling, as long as the products are for personal use and taxes have been paid in the country of purchase.

In accordance with the EU Excise Duty Directive, countries may not set RECOMMENDED VALUES lower than the following values:

Alcoholic beverage	Maximum quantity
Spirits (>22%)	10 liters
Fortified wines (e.g., sherry, port)	20 liters
Wine (up to 60 liters of sparkling wine)	90 liters
Beer	110 liters
